Our History
Heritage Ukraine was founded and registered in January 2007. At the beginning we visited an orphanage once a month and our first summer camp was held in a village with less than 50 children and 11 volunteers. Over the years God has blessed and grown this ministry little by little as we desired to serve Him and His children.

The ministry has evolved from one trip, once a month, to teams that visit 18 orphanages every month. Camp LELA now hosts up to 600 children every summer, and over 400 volunteers are involved each year in a variety of different projects.

Heritage Ukraine has broadened it's ministry over the years to include work with children from at-risk or low-income homes, children with special needs, and children as they graduate from orphanages and transition to independent lives.

In 2015 God blessed Heritage with property that allowed us to see our dreams come to fruition as we opened a day center for at-risk children. This place is also the home to the offices of Heritage Ukraine, Camp LELA, the JAM (Jesus and Me) Day Center, and the JOY! Center for Children with Autism. Heritage Ukraine has been active for over thirteen years and the Lord continues to open the doors for many opportunities to spread the Gospel to orphans, at risk children, and children with special needs in Odessa and the surrounding area.
